Cooking from The Sprouted Kitchen

With the number of spills and Post-its in my copy of The Sprouted Kitchen, you’d think I’ve cherished it for years. In truth, this past month has been a cooking bonanza: I’ve brought Sara’s Toasty Nuts to meetings, warmed up with Roasted Tomato Soup, and scarfed down Coconut Loaf for a breakfast on-the-go or topped it with homemade cherry jam or peanut butter for a more relaxed moment. I’ve munched on Tuscan Kale Chopped Salad and Millet Salad for lunch, and happily consumed Lentil Meatballs for multiple meals a day. Sometimes the herbacious, wholesome meatballs are accompanied by quinoa, kale, burrata, or pesto sauce, and sometimes they are popped into my mouth on their own. I’ve tackled my now ostensibly ridiculous-seeming apprenhension of roasting portobello mushrooms, and have Almond Meal Cookie dough waiting for me at home to bake off.

It’s not just me that’s having a love affair with The Sprouted Kitchen, though.
