One-Bowl Chocolate Cupcakes are my go-to recipe for quick and easy cupcakes. I have made them multiple times for parties and work events with the same delicious results. This recipe requires ingredients that I usually have in my cupboards and I love that you can toss all of the ingredients in one bowl, mix it up, and be done. It’s similar to making a box cake mix but with fresh, quality ingredients.

Cupcakes are a no-fail dessert. Always delicious, always a hit, and so simple. Constantly on the hunt for the perfect chocolate cupcake recipe, I turned to my trusty copy of Martha Stewart’s Cupcakes. I had never tried her Devil’s Food Cupcakes before, and let me tell you, they were devilishly good. So moist, so fluffy, and so chocolaty. Trust me, the next time you want to whip up a dessert, grab your mixer and bake these.

These cupcakes are really fun and easy to make for a kids birthday party. Instead of Ladybugs, as shown in Martha Stewart’s Cupcakes, we made Garden Pails and other creations. However, the kids can create anything they want. This project was a great way to get kids to use their imagination! I would recommend that an adult pipe the grass icing kids can use their imaginations to put whatever they want on the grass icing.

I don’t know any female who hasn’t, at one time or another, wanted a princess-themed birthday party–which is how I found myself throwing said party for my roommate. And, as any self-respecting princess would, she demanded home-baked birthday goodies. So I turned to Martha Stewart’s Cupcakes to help me find an easy but delicious chocolate cupcake recipe.
